•  Candidates must have passed out with minimum 50 % marks (45% for reserved categories) in the concerned discipline from an Institute recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, State Board of Technical Education affiliated to University or attached to UGC.
• Candidates who shall be appearing in the final year examination in 2013 shall also be eligible to apply.
• The candidates, however, shall be considered for selection only if they pass the prescribed qualification acquiring the above mentioned percentage of marks by 8 July 2013.
• Candidates who have acquired the prescribe qualification before 2011 are not eligible
